UAS initiative

The UAS Initiative is a project connecting Romania’s growing drone ecosystem with the UK Ministry of Defence, armed forces, industry, investors and the expert knowledge network needed to support the integration of these providers into British supply chains​ and acquisition processes

 

Running alongside DroneX London, 29-30 September 2026, it begins with a dedicated series of roundtable discussions, 28 September, covering themes including UK go-to-market, defence procurement and industrial partnerships, and features the launch of the Activize report, Drones Innovation in Romania – the first comprehensive mapping of the country's UAS companies and capabilities
